Allison Janney bio
Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14th, 1970) is an American actor. She is known for her work on the screen as well as the stage. In addition, she's received nominations for two Tony Awards and has won an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award as well as the Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Allison Janney is a well-known actor who spent more than twenty years working in the regional theatre. Her fame was forged by her role portraying White House press secretary C.J. Gregg, the well-known and acclaimed character on The West Wing by NBC (NBC 1999-2006), is an established name. Allison Janney was always a late to the party. In Ohio, she got her license one year later when compared with her fellow students. She didn't go on the first date until after she went to university. In spite of auditioning at her 23rd birthday, she didn't appear on screen until she reached her late 30s. Faris has been very selective in her roles after she left Mom in 2020. One exception is 2022's The Estate. According to Faris herself, she has told PEOPLE that this was not a conscious decision she made. Anna Faris left CBS's hit sitcom Mom shortly before the end of its seventh and eighth seasons. Faris stated at the time she would be leaving the show in order to pursue possibilities for a new career. Now, Faris is opening up on the motivations behind her choice. This wasn't a decision she had planned. Janney was wearing a fake wig ever when she began the series. Fallon stated, "So, now everybody know that Janney's been sporting the wig for her show from the beginning. Janney is planning to carry the wig for a keepsake. In the beginning of her series, Janney was able to earn anywhere between $125,000 and $250,000 per episode. Faris is believed to have made $200,000 for each episode of the series during season three or four.
