Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is well-known for her leading roles in many television series but also her impressive performances on film. Both Canadian as well as American television are fond of Emily Irene vanCamp. Emily's interest in acting began at the age of 12 when, she went to visit the sister of Katie who was shooting one of Katie's movies. When she realized that acting was her interest, she started to learn how to act and auditions. The first commercials she auditioned for were and was soon cast as a child actor in the Canadian television horror show Are You afraid of the dark? where she was seen in a single scene with any dialogue. The first time she was seen on screen was around the age of 15 when she got a role on the show on WB's Glory Days as a regular. Emily's performances caught the attention to Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then cast her on his television show Everwood. Emily was a professional ballet dancer who began to take up photography as well. Teen listed her as one top actress under 20. Maxim placed her at number 51 in its Hot 100 of 2014.
